The first release of this 1979 recording finds Chadbourne on prepared 12-string guitar and a vintage National steel. The recording is quite nice, as is the playing, this apparently falling before the doctor went mad. Eight tracks include extended acoustic guitar compositions and jazz-influenced material, as well as two Birds and a Monk.
